Had my kindle for 5 months, and I still read the news on it at night sometimes. I stopped buying books when I discovered you can get the books for free online. This is just one of the sources

i'll second the iphone/touch app...but yeah, you're right...not really the same.i'm more of a magazine guy anyway. go figure~

Buy an iTouch or iPhone and use the kindle app....
- I have iPhone, but it sucks for reading books compared to Kindlezaq
- ha..I just e-bayed my kindle and bought an iTouch. Weird...TheBlueOne
- Stanza is excellent for reading books.
