Man held after kissing daughter
There is growing controversy in Brazil over the arrest of an Italian tourist held after kissing his eight-year-old daughter in public.

More and more I'm beginning to think that the supposed 2012 apocalypse is not such a bad idea after all.

liveforever - it's got a lot to do with design.
Firstly, it is another addition to public restrictions on photography and the climate of fear in the UK
Secondly, I think the current transition/trend in "brand as community" faces a threat from the various layers of disassociation and mistrust that are pervasive in UK society.

Also the idea of the "public as the director" trend will take a hit is other members of the public get too paranoid and neurotic.

Yeah GeorgesII, I earlier this year, walked passed in the streets of Munich a very young girl, perhaps 5/6 who was just crying on the corner. I was concerned and asked her in my broken German: "Sind du okay?" and she shook her head and said "Nein" as she kept crying.
But then i got scared that if i started talking to her or helping her people will think i am of the paedophile kind, so i sheepishly walked away, and kept glancing over my shoulder hoping some WOMAN would walk past and sort her out.
This was on a quitish street corner in Munchen at around 7pm in winter so it was getting pretty dark already, and the child was all alone, perhaps lost.
I don't know if anyone helped her. She might still be there. Or she might have lived only a few steps away from where she was and she was crying for some other reason. I just don't know. Nobody knows. It's an enigma.
- yeah, she's still there. i saw her there yesterday but i had the same reaction as you ... sadpizzafire
- could at least called police? geezzz....janne76

set, I believe you missed the dozen episodes of men that were wrongfully accused of things they didn't do,
A women can accuse a man of rape, then come out and say she lied and get away with it,
any sane person knows that you have to help the ones in need, but I don't want to get b fucked because I was doing it.short episode: 3 years ago, I was riding around in longboard when I saw a old drunken men pass out and bashed his head on a car, for a second I wanted to go but stopped and turned around, I put his bloody head on my bag, called an ambulance, waited with this bloody drunkard bleeding on my bag, and you know the first thing the ambulance guys asked me when they arrived,
If I had hit him....fuck it, it wasn't even a women nor a kid, but if he had died there, I would have possibly had some serious repercussions.

there's always such things as innocent until proven guilty. which does not always work.
but, at least in my country, not helping a person that became victim of either an accident or violence is a crime (severe in some cases).
could get you in jail if you are spotted by witnesses turning around and let the victim bleed.
