I gave up - heard somewhere that if your site takes 30 seconds to load then you lose 30% of your audience - can somebody post some screen grabs so i can take a look !
- if you aren't on dialup,
be in the 70% man, just wait :)GeorgesII - i did and got an error - man i'm turning into a miserable old bastard...SlashPeckham

None of it loads for me.

i think the consensus here is that a) it's very pretty looking - so as a designer of pretty looking, attractive sites, you've done well.
and b) the site is ridiculously long to load, thus removing most of any audience.. - so as a designer of websites, you just 'may' have to rethink a few things, and possibly hire a usability guy or something.
i loaded it up and looked at it...was impressed with it visually, but the load time almost made me turn it off....actually, the only reason i waited is that since I'm a fellow designer, i wanted to give an honest opinion....but that's going to be rare dude...most folks are NOT designers that recognize your name on QBN and want to see your latest work....my wife, for example would have just clicked off after a few seconds, and since she's the one in our house that actually buys bottled water, she's a fairly accurate representation of your audience....she would definitely not have waited to see any of that stuff....
regardless of how good something looks (and i repeat, i thought it looked quite nice) if it takes that long to load, no one will wait. no one.
my guess is the direction from this either came from a print campaign, or that it will part of one? because all i could think was that the creative seemed better suited to print...

client: we want something cool.
firm: we have some great ideas.
client: our timeline is tight.
client: we have seen a lot of competitor sites using the entire browser window with full rich graphics and intricate transitions between site "sections". a lot of them have actually been using fullscreen video! that could be cool!
firm: we have some great ideas. let us get back to you on timeline aspects from our end.
client: it was due yesterday...and did we mention there are actually 6 different waters we are trying to sell here?
firm: ummm, no you didn't mention that there are actually 6 waters. and the timeline seems absolutely impossible to meet.
client: *sets down an enormous briefcase with cash spilling out of every corner.
firm: so...we have some great ideas that we would love to show you.
