to not like some aspect of the many facets of the beatles music is to not understand music as a whole. It is also underestimate their shaping of popular music as a whole, right the way through from production, arrangment, recording. Pioneering each of those things.
I have never met a musician who didn't like the beatles.

Nice intro to the game, might have to finally pick up a Rock Band game when this comes out. I have a PS3 but am finding out I really hate video games.
Also it's a shame Yoko & Heather Mills will profit off this game.

Small Faces were a FAR superior band, who actually took drugs and didn't just lie about it to get on the news.
- okay...babaganush
- The thread isn't a fucking debate about who was the better band...babaganush
- didn't say it was. just defending my dislike....moth
- So shut your hole then ye mad trumpet.chossy
- that was for babaganush but I guess you can have some of it as well moth.chossy
- whateverbabaganush
- just listen to Tin Soldier and tell me I'm fucking right yo!moth
- hear that? Seminal? Yes? Moth speaks truth?moth
- this is fantastic7point34
- i like the small faces, but lets be honest here. History wont remember them. No where near the depth or influence.baseline_shift
- The drugs bit was a joke by the way. But nothing else is...moth
- That shit about the drugs was an asinine comment. Didn't the Small Faces have Rod Stewart at one point? Case closed.CyBrain
- no, Rod Stewart was in The Faces, the band that came after The Small Faces. One of my favourite songs this one.Wolfboy

I can easily hate the beatles. I find the vast majority of their songs overtly twee and annoying. It's that simple really...

I do not like the beatles either, I told someone that once and he said something similar to peoples comments here. Although he didn't tell me it was a childish reaction.
I simply do not like their music.

Very cool. And its nice to finally see such an influential and great band get their own guitar video game. F aerosmith and metallica.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who wishes the in-game visuals were like this, instead of the typical 3D models.

interesting how the animation style mixes the flat 2d and 3d. starts to get lost at the end, i think.....mismatches quite a bit and doesnt hold up the way the beginning does

Nice.
Shame about the beatles though. I hate them too.- how can you 'hate' the beatles...it is kind of weird childish reaction. its like hating rock music...since the defined rock music in so many ways.twokids
- the beatles did everything first, and better than anyone by a factor of like 10
twokids - "before anyone had done anything, Elvis had done everything." John Lennon,mikotondria3
- then the beatles came along and did it all better than anyone then or nowtwokids
- agreed..nothing quite like the beatles...love love love them :)exador1

I agree Babaganush, but Zombie studios said (and I quote) "Thanks for your email, yes we agree that it looks stunning but nothing to do with Jamie and Zombie I’m afraid L. The person and people who deserve the credit are Pete Candeland and Passion Pictures."
- babaganush0
You sure it's not both? The illustrations are massively Hewlett style
- Doesn't matter really - it's amazing whoever did it.babaganush
- Yes, I agree. I would have liked it to be JH though purely because I'm a fan.Horp
- yeah...I mean it's obviously 'inspired' by his workbabaganush
