If I have a link like this:
blah blah blah (www.thislink.com)
Should I color the parenthesis the link color as well, or leave them the same color as the rest of the body copy?
For a website.
Thanks.

'Welcome to thislink.com - we are dedicated to being your resource. This site is updated on a regular basis so check back often. We are working on a new design so please be patient if you run into construction. Thank you.'
the next google.

Don't color the parenthesis.

The parentheses, should be, parenthetically, a third color. Different from the text, different from the link, different from the ground.
Parentheses are the very foundational structure of what you are doing here--setting off a little link to the side, by itself. Think of them as two nurturing hands which cocoon the wee link, and protect it from the run-of-the-mill "text." They are not the link; they are not the text. They are a third, beautiful thing!

Aye, agree with skt. Whatever looks better.
- Alright, I figured. Wasn't sure if there was a best practice. Haha. MLA standards for the web or something.dMullins
