Heading there the middle of august for a wedding. We only have 3 days to spend there. My wife has never been to the west coast. I used to live in Seattle, but have not been to Portland in years. What is there to do, where to stay? Is it worth it to try and get to the coast? Any ideas helpful!

Stumptown for coffee, Voodoo Donuts for desert, Bailey's Tap Room or the Green Dragon for *good* beer, get to the Rose Gardens for the lush scenery and all of the food is good. Cheers.

If you're traveling with your wife, why come on here for suggestions? Why should we waste our breath advising you on cool things to do, when you'll never to get to sneak away to do them? Accept that you're going to be doing boring pussy-whipped chick shit, and download some porn to you iPhone to watch when you're in the can.
