We were all going down the path of "whole story sounds really fishy and easy to prove he's in the right," but then we got sidetracked and all decided to get nachos and beer instead.

One thing that I had to laugh at - in his blog, when people suggest getting in contact with mainstream media, calling CNN, MSNBC, etc. to get his story out there...

Are these people high on drugs? No major news organization is going to give a damn about some guy being sued for $18,000 because of some "he said, they said" snafu with a web site.

    • never know. nothing new to report on the economy. Plus they report on how well Obama's bracket did every day.rodzilla

mg33, it's a pretty damning story, when a company actually compensates people for ripping off artists.

This is from an E-mail newsletter StockArt.com sent out:

"Well, Stockart.com would like to urge you to confidentially report any instance of impropriety that you are aware of. WE WILL PAY YOU A PERCENTAGE OF THE SETTLEMENT FEE.

All we need is for you to give us enough information to locate the communication which has the illustration(s) used out of copyright, and we will take it from there. In return, we will send you 10% of ANY settlement moneys we recover. This could amount to thousands of dollars for you AND the illustrators, by simply doing what is right!"

You mean I can rip some guy's work off for cash...then report him for more cash??
