oye i feel bad after listening to you guys. I'm struggling to hit 40 hrs the last few weeks... and the budgets i've been given for projects have been insanely lowballed... 10 hrs for a dynamic, animated screensaver... 4 hrs to redesign a website... so stupid.

be careful... staying up all hours is a false economy when your tired and just working half pace and half witted.

its because you're working for the guys that have been laid off... economy.
Here's a diagram:
Worker no.1
job level: |||||||||Worker no.2
job level: |||||||Worker no.3
job level: ||||||||||||Worker no.4
job level: |||||Worker no.5
job level: ||||||||||If we laid off workers no. 2, 3, 4, 5
then, worker no.1 have this amount of works:Worker no.1
job level: ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||...That's why he's now working 80h/week.
Thank you.

59 hours in the last 5 days and plenty more to do this weekend...
Surprisingly enough the business is still growing, but because of 'the economy', the boss doesn't want to hire more staff. So there's just more work piling on the same quantity of people... it's not the worst problem a company could have, but it's still getting pretty bad...
