This is typical of western cultures.
People want the summed up most simplified 'truth'
Reality suggests that often times, the 'truth' is complex beyond the comprehensive capabilities of most.@Fariska
If someone answered 'no' to your question, it would be just as invalid as someone answering 'yes'
In reality, few people actually 'know' the full/whole story. There are some on this forum who are adamant about their version of why the plane came down, and those individuals tend to appear agitated and whiney. They react hostilely toward those who bring in novel pieces of data
Then, there are others on this forum who admit that they don't know, but they offer suppositions supported by FACTS.
@Fariska
no offense, but your question is ignorant.
in all likelihood nobody on this forum is in a position to give a qualified, definitive (yes/no) answer.anyone who does, is full of shit. THAT'S ALL
- You are utterly out of your fucking mind shit nuts. You are a real disgrace. Grow up you silly bitch stop smoking pot.chossy
- see what I mean? look at how whiney they get.styleplus
- @chossy
try cleaning the sand out of your vagina. You might find yourself less irritated.styleplus - I am angry because you are wasting your mind away, you could be doing so much more. You are a real let down.chossy

do you have a news story link for this too, or just a photo digz? what happened?

I too have heard of Raytheon and do not try to deny their existence. I also know that all things are fallible. I really don't even get what your trying to weld together here. Its a company in the business of offering failsafe technology to the aeronautical industry.
RollsRoyce are in the business of offering failsafe engines, but they do sometime blow up when they eat too many segulls.
Toyota are in the business of offering failsafe cars but bugger me one or two will break down.
What's your point?
I think you smoke a lot of weed and are unemployed at the moment.
- My point is there for the taking. If you don't see it, then go to sleep. There's no need to stress yourself out. Unless you feel threatened...styleplus
- ... Unless you feel threatened.
(The ignorant feel threatened by that which is not immediately familiar)styleplus - Who are you kidding? You've never heard of Raytheon before today... otherwise you would be so apparently ignorant.styleplus

I tell you what Styleplus, go and do a bit of research into your remote landing technology and find out how much it costs the airline... even you can't assume its given away for free by a benevolent non profit business... and then do a bit of research into where Turkish Airways buy their planes. I haven't looked, but I'm willing to bet you a significant figure that Turkey's arilines run decommissioned planes from around Europe.
ie, second hand planes that we have deemed beyond prime usage. Second grade reconditioned planes thata re a number of years old.
Ask yourself if Turkish Airlines has money for state of the art systems. Becuase BA certainly don't have it, and nor do Quantas.
- Now go get your shinebox.Orbit
- Auto thingy's can't fly planes that have no fuels in them.The_archer
- I know but he doesn't think running out of fuel is possible. He's a crackpot with no grip on reality.Orbit
- That bridge is still for sale, Orbit.

You know I've just spent the afternoon looking into this and it appears you are actually correct Styleplus. Turkish Airlines DO have state of the art planes that are capable of being auto-guided by Norad's remote safety system. Furthermore the frequency and positioning of these recent crashes DOES in fact correlate to a predetermined plan of what international agnecies call 'deliberate grounding'. I thank you for opening my eyes to this.
I'm on your side now. Seriously. I don't know what we're going to do about this, I mean... its big. Bigger than any single individual, but I'm going to start by assisting you in accusing Chossy of having sand inside his ladyfold.
Chossy, you've a gritty box, get it sorted pronto. Its a disgrace.
