has anyone ever used lynda.com?
I'm asking because where I work its just a small team, 3 of us and im the only person with web development knowledge.
So whenever I get stuck on anything, mainly flash, I cant really ask someone in the studio and get some different ideas and well... actually learn anything!
So im looking for some nice ways of brushing up on flash etc so I can keep a learning curve.
Video tuts seem better than following a book, so im keen on hearing if anyone else has been in my shoes and what they would do to keep on learning, and if lynda.com is worth the $$$

there's an option to try it out for 7 days, go ahead and do that. I've used it and found it helpful at times.

It's very good. I've learned a lot of motion/interactive design from Lynda. It's also time consuming. The courses can take weeks to get through, so consider it like taking a night class. The more expensive subscription includes project files for the video tutorials, so you might want to keep that in mind if you're considering it.
- I was going to ask what time am I looking at, thanks for the heads upFallowDeer

i just updated my subscription today
- has been very valuable in shortcuts, tricks and increasing workflow- has it been helpful if you have experienced a certain problem?
Like if I was to have something specific to solve would it help with that, or just lets say flash in general?FallowDeer - specific to solve would it help, or is it just to learn, lets say, flash in generalFallowDeer
- it's the first place i check when i run into a problem - ex: figuring out how to load/format XML into Indesign reliably - worked greatbulletfactory

I love lynda.com, too.
it has a "search" to look up specific areas.
Oh ...go with the exercise file downloads, too.
The source .fla files can be really helpful.

im currently trying out the free 7 day trial,
its pretty good, brushing up on some AS2
(I know I should move on to AS3)You cant download the exercise files with the trial, but ive noticed that you do need to follow everything in your own time.
As I only watched the first chapter and didnt have time to watch the rest, so you need to get a package that fits with your time.
but so far so good
