Damn, I just read 5 pages of utter crap.
1. It's not the kind of client you would want to work with/for.
2. It's the kind of level where "different" has a very flexible definition.

Is that copperplate gothic bold?

I had something similar happen last year with a logo I'd done appearing in another 'designers' portfolio which looked like they done it.
Coincidentally, the logo (for a jewellers) was then ripped by another jeweller for their company.
The client had the logo I did trademarked, which means they have usage rights — hopefully this will give me leverage to go to the other designer and tell them to remove my logo from their site... which I haven't done yet, being a lazy fucker. If you can get the client on your side maybe that would help.

Batesoled... He wouldn't agree to take it down, unless he knew it was ripped - why on earth would he? Not to "anger you"? Please...

sounds to me like he has been hired to refresh your logo, not copy it.
nothing wrong with that. he should state that in his portfolio though. i haven't clicked on any links to find out if that is the case.
nothing like a bit of hysteria for the kids in the pvn though eh?
- Agreed looks more like a refresh. Should be stated though.lherb

awww, this is no batesole

hmm its pretty blatant batesoling. It's clearly your design. happens all the time, guilty of it myself.. but you should tell 'em you're onto them.

it is slightly different, but i'm with you bro, this sucks. never work with them again. if they paid u for this, its pretty much theirs to do what they please with, but they suck for not letting u know they were going to change your design.
- he is not annoyed at the client he is annoyed that the guy who changed it is passing it off as his work.chossy
- thats weak.Knowledge_j
