Browsed through all the of the work and all I can say is, who really cares about their personal habits, relationship, etc? She's talented as hell and that portfolio is probably a thing of envy for a ton of people.

are those people hating her because she made her self a name? or are they just genuinely don't like her work.
if you just don't like her work... well... that's your opinion man.
and why does her life bother you guys so much?
- yeah i also wonder if it has something to do with the fact that she's a woman. bunch of haters.sea_sea
- de4k0
saw her speak at Offset in Dublin earlier this year, genuinely funny, incredibly enthusiastic about work and life, just a joy to behold actually. Oh yeah and massively talented.

Not everyone likes what you like.

What mg33 said. She has great work and it appears most hate her bc she put in the time and it paid off. She worked for Louise Fili which happens to be a great studio so clearly she has talent if she left on her own accord and is making it big. Their engagement website i believe was for friends and family. All the hate stems from jealousy. Oh and gawker is a joke website - Gossip bloggers that think they are journalists

Personally, I don't hate her. I don't hate anyone. Especially someone I don't know on a personal level.
Secondly, I love her work, and wish some of it was mine. I don't get jealous, I get inspired.
Thirdly, I poke fun at anyone's hipsterness regardless of who they are.

Jennifer Lopez also has talent.

Exactly, CanHasQBN — to listen to some of the bleeding hearts on this site, you'd think everyone meant everything that was said wholly earnestly.
Credulous earnestness has no place on the internet, 'specially not QBN.

The endless self-promo is pretty grating. Would like her work a lot more if I wasn't so turned off by the barrage.
- and although the work is good, it has always stuck me as a less-talented, 'safer' version of Marian BajantesJustin
- ++detritus
- The self promotion made her successful? Grating to who?
Does she send letters to your house?
I would say a more accessible version of Marian at best, although that is kind of a stretch in general.grafiske - Didn't say the the self-promo made her famous, where do you get that?Justin
- If it weren't for the promo you'd never have heard of her, so there. There's plenty of talented barmaids...raf
- ...this gal naturally knows how to play her cards, you just sit and learn.raf
- errrr, if you say so!Justin

- Incredibly talented and nice! :)
OSFA - Completely different, in my opinion.grafiske

I have to say, I'm really disappointed in the conversation here. I bumped the thread because I saw the website for her wedding and, since she's a designer I really look up to and admire, I thought I'd share it along with the fact that she's now "off the market." I mean, c'mon, it's hard not to be attracted to that kind of talent (at least for me). Well, haters gonna hate, love you all.

Y'all can hate all you want BUT.... not just anybody makes it to Forbes, specially from the "Art & Design" field. Just sayin'
- because forbes has it's finger on the pulse of design.cannonball1978
- not my point at all. But I bet you've been featured on Forbes before...OSFA
- Meee-ow! http://www.forbes.co…Justin

Great talent, hard worker, and everyone that comments on meeting her says she's a nice person.
Sorry to interrupt the hate... carry on.

Re: The use of the comma before "and":A list of my favorite bands:
Nirvana, The Beatles, U2, Sonny and Cher and The Police. Is it "Sonny and Cher"?
or "Cher and The Police"?You could be miscommunicating that "Sonny" is one band, and "Cher and The Police" are another band.
Conclusion: The comma before and is always necessary. It not only separates the subjects, but reflect on the pause a person uses in while speaking a list of subjects.
