My grandfather nonchalantly pounded nails into posts and hung various things on them. So that things didn't fall off these...

Next thing you know we will get wood which can be 'burnt' in a fire place of your choosing.

There's a fine line between clever and stupid.

Clever idea.
They are a bit more sleek than just regular nails, I think they look nice. As long as there isn't some insane price on them, I'd buy some.

I just never actually thought about the word 'straw' before to be honest! and equated it to being straw.

Thought the nail is the poor of them... surely if you bang that white one it you're going to chip it?

Holy mother. The "hooks" come in packs of one.
One. In a fancy box.
Now I'm not some fucking tree-dangling hippie, but couldn't they put more in there?

wouldn't the nice paint job on the nails come off upon pounding them into your walls with a hammer?

I still think it would be stupid easy to knock that nail in crookedly, jacketed or not. Plus, if you have that kind of money, i'm sure you're not doing your own decorating to begin with.
