Apple always nails it with their screen icons, colors, etc.
I have yet to see a comparable large screen, hi-res display that doesn't remind of things from 5-6 years ago in terms of icon shape, color, etc. Maybe I'm just picky about that, but in comparison even the iphone's info bar at the top, plain as it is, is just as elegant as the rest of the display.

And wtf... do you really have to turn the phone to landscape mode to engage the full width QWERTY keyboard?
there's a video screen shot down below that shows it in portrait mode alongside an iphone and it has two letters per button.
Is this correct? If so, FAIL Blackberry.- there are 3 keyboard modes********

- i think you missed the point of the thread... I would buy the iphone if they offered it for verizon... but they do not, with that said... the BB is my best option********

I use my iPhone for the following:
01. Phone Calls.
02. E-Mail (including Corporate).
03. Text Messages.
04. iPod for brief stints of time.Rarely if ever for anything else to be honest (the occasional PVN when at the pub to join in the Premiership/ Champions League threads).
But when I went home to see my cable was out, being able to go online an pay the bill via my phone was great considering I didn't have internet access, haha.
I'd be better suited with a Blackberry to be honest, but everything is more fluid and ... well looks better.
I had an issue with the touch screen at first, especially the keyboard but the auto-correction is very good, and you get used to it ... just like anything. Now I churn out on my end 1K+ text messages a month, heh.

I saw the worst copy in an ad for some dumb fake-iphone today. It was some junk called HTC Touch, and the copy was:

if you're on sprint this is a really good iphone alternative
i've got one, it's no iphone killer but it's the best phone i've ever owned. touch screen is great, email and keyboard are awesome too. it's about the closest iphone rip off i've seen so far.
