Hey, does anyone else use the All in one SEO pack wordpress plugin?
If so, did you remove the meta keywords tag from the head of your theme? I ask because the All in one SEO plugin gives you the option of adding meta keywords. However, if you do this, and you have meta keywords in your header.php template, then it adds in a second meta keywords line of code. I'm thinking this may be bad from a google and seo standpoint. Anyone else face this problem in the past?

some assclown client tried to have a go at me about my lack of care in regards to the keywords and description when we were discussing google and seo of their site. was nice to quietly raise the point that google doesn't use either. where google go the others follow.
a brief read on googles meta tag use:
http://www.webmarketingnow.com/t…google on meta keywords:
http://www.google.com/support/we…google on meta description:
http://www.google.com/support/we…- +13point14159
- That doesn't mean you shouldn't still use them...jevad
- actually, i would say that is a great reason not to use them.heavyt
- Clients love it when you make them look stupid and out of touch.boobs

If you use the All-in-one SEO pack, yes remove the hard coded meta tags in your header.php template. While the importance of meta tags is debatable, I'd say you're better off to have them then not. The tags should not be duplicated and its content should be unique for each page if you choose to use them. (this is for keywords and description meta tags)
