Good - I find them quite inappropriate. A lot of young kids ski and snowboard and those are bang out of order.
- The world needs more proper gentleman. I tip my hat to you sir.JackRyan

Here's the other one that people all worked up about:
http://www.burton.com/Gear/Defau…..the argument being that enough teens have an issue with self-mutilation as it is.
When i heard about this one on the radio, i thought it wold be more cartoon-y, ala Itchy & Scratchy. The actual design is just kinda gross and disturbing

I don't mind the boards and they're not that racy compared to what the average kid is going to see, day to day surfing the internet. However I do agree that the resorts have the right to preserver their image and reputation so I think that's fine. It's more about social perception towards sex then the actual image, I would imagine in Europe this would be a non issue. But that's because they fuck a lot more and the general public aren't overly sensitive to human nature.
I remember an Endeavor snowboard line that used a model in a similar fashion. i didn't hear anything about that and the board at any canadian resorts. More importantly if the board rides well fuck it.
- I am a European and I take umbrage to your claim. We fuck a -whole- lot more, thank you very much.Peter
- and god bless each and every one of you.BillyWaite

it's a win/lose situation in my opinion. on the corporate side of things, some money, respect and buyers may be lost.. but for snowboarders who want to keep things "core" and cause a bit of controversy.. it's brilliant. everyone can agree that the boards are a bit over the top for younger generations coming into local shops.. but this is snowboarding we're talking about.. it wasn't meant to be professional
and this is, of course, just my two cents on the situation

This isnt even softcore porn - theres as much flesh on show in teen or gossip magazines.
This is what happens when its suits that run a rather than Snowboarders

Is this bringing rebellion back to snowboarding?
Now that grandma and grandpa ride....Might not exactly be a bad thing.

thats not snowboarding. worst boards ive ever seen, I expect much higher standards from a company like burton.

Did they do this with Playboy or did they get the rights to use the shots?
