    it's a win/lose situation in my opinion. on the corporate side of things, some money, respect and buyers may be lost.. but for snowboarders who want to keep things "core" and cause a bit of controversy.. it's brilliant. everyone can agree that the boards are a bit over the top for younger generations coming into local shops.. but this is snowboarding we're talking about.. it wasn't meant to be professional

    and this is, of course, just my two cents on the situation
