font-size:62.5% is easier because it translates to the em's being a relative size to the pixel equivalent.. 1.4 = 14 ect. It's just alot easier to keep track of.

Ems or percentages for font sizes and always ems for line height. It the easiest way to go.

I had to try and spec out an already completed design in em spacing/sizing, kinda did my head in trying to figure it out, ended up using some online conversion tool, don't think things really worked out...
