Been searching online. Anyone know of a good Airplane Charger adapter? I have one for my laptop but won't be taking my laptop so I won't be able to plug into it for power.

    Thanks,

    Tim

can't you just use the plug that it comes with? the outlet extension from the usb?

maybe i am missing your point though...

The airplane power outlets almost look like a car outlet. So the USB power plug that came with it would need to plug into that adapter and then into the airplane power outlet.

Last plane I was on had 3 pin grounded sockets, like in a regular house (Continental 757).

    • Really? Sweet... Going on Delta (not sure of model) so hope that is the case.
      Thanks...

    http://www.boxwave.com/accessori…

Boxwave makes a full selection of chargers for iPhone, US & European, for car, plane, AC. It's a USB charger that comes with a special USB adapter for iPhone and an optional converter for the airplane 3 pin 15 V power.

I too was looking for plane power for my iPhone, and made the mistake of getting Monster's iAirPlay power supply that some sites advertise as working with iPhone....NOT.

when I was looking for a laptop airplane charger some told me every plane was different so you have to do some leg work to figure out which one will work.

Oh, and remember not every seat on the plane has a power adapter.
So you may want to get the AA battery power supply for your iPhone 3G. I have had these for my earlier iPods and they supply 20 hours of power on 3 AA's.

American Airlines has regular lighter socket adaptors in the first 13 or so rows, then it skips around. Delta probably has something similar...

    Check http://www.seatguru.com for details...

Personally, I highly recommend the InCase 2 in 1 wall & car charger - http://www.goincase.com/products… - It's great only having to bring 1 charger on trips, to work, in the car...
