I have a movie and QT pro and want to export it from 7 mins into 45 seconds, anyone know how to do this?

When you hover over the timeline you should see two sliders at either end, drag them in to your in and out points and then click on Edit>Trim to Selection. Then save it.

indeed, or you could use i to mark your in and o to mark your out point then do the trim to selection, it is exactly the same as ninjas way just using keys.

coolplayer does it - not sure if available for your system.

actually you can but it looks shite, you need an audio file that is 45 seconds long.
open that in Quicktime then open your film footage
mark the in and out you want in the film footage all 7 minutes then apple c then go to the music track in Quicktime that is 45 seconds long then choose add and scale, it looks shite but your footage has been sped up hope this helps in some way.- you are some sort of sorcerer.ninjasavant
- if you have a lap top then just record a new audio track and stop at 45 sconds :)chossy
