Fisher is dating Carrie Underwood.
Oh, those sports players and their blondes ;)I always wonder how a non-blonde would feel hanging out with the rest of the ladies at charity functions and parties (only because I have never see a non-blonde at these events).
- I think they'd be a good couple. Both are from more traditional towns and are religious.Jaline

It's amazing that hockey players make enough money to date stars. They used to not even make enough money to date housewives. In the US, I think the athlete dating hierarchy goes something like this:
1)Baseball
2)Football
3)NBA
4)Olympics
5)Jockeys
6)Umpires and Referees
7)College Football
8)Bike racers
9)Assistant coaches
10)Hockey- Yeah, hockey is definitely first here. And then other things, hahaJaline

Apparently they met when she performed a concert at Scotiabank Place on March 21, 2008. He went backstage and they started dating after.

Anyone see the Ruutu/Peters incident last night? What a joke. These guys get fists, pucks, and skates in the face, and, after a little glue and stitching, are back on the ice in no time. Peters gets a little nibble on the thumb and he's shaking his hand like he just took a bullet through it... while holding it over a lit stove top.
- yes, lol. I know biting is supposed to be a bigger deal, but I was laughing the entire time. It shouldn't be that bad.Jaline

Seven wins in a row for the Cap's.
So that's the last 18 of 20 I think.

The Penguins haven't hit their streak yet.
Looking for a 4/5 spot for the playoffs hopefully.
- I hope we don't make the playoffs and get some good players... (it would be stupid to trade Spezza, as he is good)Jaline
- OMG THAT'S A LIE, MAKE THE PLAYOFFS! MAKE THE PLAYOFFS!Jaline
- gonna be hard for you guys to get rid of those large salarieshandsomeboy
- who?Jaline

Sundin wasn't really a factor tonight. I think signing him may turn out a huge mistake.
- Why? It's the first game, and Vancouver doesn't have him for long. I guess they could've signed others before the deadline...Jaline
- deadline, but some people like him.Jaline
- ya i guess it was his first gamesikma
- I mean, he could be too old to play. Who knows. That's why it's better to just sign him for one year.Jaline

" To Peters, taking a punch in a hockey game is one thing, but being bitten during a skirmish breaks what’s known as the tough-guy code in the NHL.
“It goes too far for any player. It doesn’t matter who you are, it’s not part of hockey,” he said. “I just hope kids don’t think that’s acceptable. It’s not acceptable at any level.” "

Please. Someone has never heard of Mike Tyson.

"Biting is rare in hockey, but it does happen.
Current Bruins star Marc Savard was suspended for one game in 2003 when, playing for Atlanta, he bit Darcy Tucker on the glove in a game against Toronto.
Last January, New Jersey’s Travis Zajac required stitches on his finger after being bitten by Philadelphia defenseman Derian Hatcher.
Hatcher was not disciplined by the league.
Sabres coach Ruff said biting goes back to when he played in the NHL in the 1980s.
“I witnessed a few. I saw one teammate get bit right on the back,” he said.
Ruff said he nor the team was going to overreact to what happened.
“I find it a little humorous to tell you the truth,” Ruff said. “It makes it something good to talk about. Games need a little spice and we get a little spice.”"

Montreal is really stepping up their game. Probably the best team North of the 49th.
- Jaline0
OH MY heavens, what kind of a goal was that??!!! Seemed very lucky to me. I like both Washington and Montreal, so we'll see what happens. In fact, I also don't mind Boston. They all have some solid players.

Perhaps Semin will get in a "fight" with another Staal tonite:

Also, I think they are waiting for the All-Star break to fire Thierren (Pens Coach). You can't have the talent the Penguins have and be this remarkable bad compared to the top teams.
... And the worst teams.
