    I am still not sure about Calgary picking up Todd Bertuzzi. Iginla really pushed for him, so lets hope it works out. Personally, I find Berttuzzi a classless player.

    I still havent paid up from a hockey pool that was like 3 years ago and im an ass. I try to avoid hockey threads because i feel horrible.
    was it flavour? someone tell me who has won the pools in the last couple years, so i can pay up. hiten, jaline, im sure you know.

    So at lunch I asked my buddy if we could stop off at a Best Buy so I could pick up NHL 09, because I really only play Rock Band but played the demo over last weekend and it seemed fun enough.

    And also so I could pick up Season 3 of Always Sunny In Philadelphia, haha.

    When I get to the counter the kid goes, "You know Marc Andre Fleury?"

    And I just went, "I've met him before ... not like personally or anything, haha."

    Cashier, "He was here not a minute ago, bought the same game you did. Should have had him sign it or something."

    Me: "Haha, did he get Always Sunny too?'

    Cashier: "... No."

    Me: "MISTAKE!"

    Luckily the transaction was basically done at that point because it would have been awkward standing there for awhile after yelling "MISTAKE" at the top of my lungs.

    It made sense though that he would go to that one, as it's close to the ice-o-plex that they practice at in the off-season. Actually, it's the same place I play at for my indoor soccer team.

    So NHL 09 is fucking incredible.

    I just started playing it this morning and it is getting me entirely too excited for this season.

    too bad nobody cares about hockey here in KC. we get to see the Blues and Kings in preseason game at the brand new Sprint Center. its just a dog and pony show to show off the arena in a bid to get a team. hopefully it works out. I miss Hockeytown.
