One of the reasons I support Obama is because he is trying to get panacea access the the mental healthcare he needs
- colin_s0
panacea, when you say that the government shouldn't dominate everyone's life from cradle to grave, i agree.
but what i don't see is how you think that the american government is doing that at all. i mean usually things that would terrify those who claim they are for lesser government would be the staggering police response to the occupy movement, the wars that gw started, and spending more on military than the other top 10 spenders in the world combined.
what's more, is that while government unregulated and unchecked is a terrible beast, so is capitalism. these are all institutions and systems globbing for power and control - the veil of giving a shit about anyone is neither a democratic nor republican stance. it's just what people in control talk about.
so, as disappointed as i've been with obama, do you really think that the us government is telling people what to do too much? i think that they overstepped their boundaries long ago with the patriot act and the executive branch's oversight - but these were not policies drafted by our current president.
- that's a loaded question or point. too many variables in the equation and yes they fucking want to at this rate.panacea
- you say capitalism is poorly designed, yes it is, agreed, however, you ready to show me another on that works?panacea
- And what the do you call the NDAA? http://www.aclu.org/…panacea
- "seriously reservations" about the bill MY ASS, in secret he is laughing, but you'll not be when a conservative winspanacea
- with that same BS in tact. Watch... then you can point fingers back at Obama!panacea
- so the ACLU believes in the constitution, yet all these haters against it don't? WTF!? http://www.aclu.org/…panacea
- and I'm sure the Founders envisioned 'petty dictator' types like Obama.panacea
- You are citing the ACLU now? The other day you were defending the UN. All of your opinions are liquid.DrBombay
- I'm stating, even the ACLU doesn't respect this clown. He's a liar and a con and you fell for it. How does it feel Bumbay?panacea
- Feels great!DrBombay
- NDAA was veto-proof. What don't you get?DrBombay
- i'm just saying you avoided my questions and deflected with shit about obama, which is what pundits do.colin_s
- That's all you can do when you don't have anything substantive to say.digitdaily

- hahaha, it would be funny, if we were 14 and homophobic. Calling someone 'gay' doesn't count as an insult in 2012. It's like calling him 'tall', or 'white'.mikotondria3
- like calling him 'tall', or 'dark-haired', or 'left handed'.mikotondria3
- no, gay is still an insult.handle
- Fuck off is it.mikotondria3
- BonSeff0
he copied and pasted that shit from some fundie blog railing against the cali law overturn.
- mikotondria30
I just don't understand, Panacea, why you'd try to insult someone by 'calling them' gay, if they're not. You're assuming - that for the insult to take - they wouldn't want to be called gay, and they'd only want to not be called gay if they thought there was something wrong or undesirable about it.
Which there isn't.
Why you'd think that other people don't want to be thought of as gay can only indicate that you don't want to be thought of as gay, because you think there's something wrong with that.
There isn't, why would you think there's something wrong with being gay, Panacea ?
Seriously - level with me here - answer a straight question with a direct, unwavering response. I'll start you off:
"I think being gay is wrong, because......"
(Then you fill in the end bit after you've thought about it. Don't get political, don't try to examine my motives or assign broad characteristics and extrapolations about me asking the question, as an atheist, a liberal, a vegan, or a european...just man-up and do some straight-talking. You may highlight the amusing coincidence that I've used the term 'straight-talking' with regard to talking about your thoughts about being gay. You get that one free).
Go...- Apologies, does faggot work better for you? Done! hahahapanacea
- That's *honestly* your best answer ?mikotondria3
- "I think being gay is wrong, because...faggot" ?mikotondria3

Limbaugh shows Santorum some love
Some kind words from Rush Limbaugh about Rick Santorum on the eve of the Florida primary had some wondering whether the conservative radio talker finally endorsed in the race.
“Everybody is guilty of some transgression somewhere against conservatism, except Santorum,” Limbaugh said Tuesday.

Shock Poll: 20% of Republicans Leaning to Obama
For critics of Barack Obama, 2012 has been portrayed as a do-or-die year for the country – an election that will determine whether America stays on the road to European-style socialism or veers right to reclaim its positions as the most vibrant economy in the world and the home of individual liberty.
But the 2012 election is looking more like a replay of 2008 than a do-over.
The latest WND/Wenzel Poll shows none of the current crop of Republican presidential candidates has solidified the base of the party, with one in five GOP voters leaning toward support of Obama in November.

ObamaCare's Great Awakening
HHS tells religious believers to go to hell. The public notices.
http://online.wsj.com/article/SB…The political furor over President Obama's birth-control mandate continues to grow, even among those for whom contraception poses no moral qualms, and one needn't be a theologian to understand why. The country is being exposed to the raw political control that is the core of the Obama health-care plan, and Americans are seeing clearly for the first time how this will violate pluralism and liberty.
- If you voted for Obama in 2008 to prove you weren’t a racist, you’d better vote for someone else in 2012 to prove you’re not an idiot.panacea
- an idiot.panacea
- you should put that on a t shirt or somethingdigitdaily
- its pretty catchy
digitdaily - //That is the only reason anyone voted for Obama...DrBombay
- White man's burden or guilt and youthful stupidity. Take a look around you...panacea
- Couldn't have been because McCain was out of touch and then chose Palin. Not at all.DrBombay
- no doubt, McCain is and was a bloated piece of crap and Palin isn't worth even mentioning. that was a gamepanacea
- But everyone voted for Obama because of white guilt...DrBombay
- I'm sure that a lot did, not everyone, but you don't need everyone to win an election, look at Bushpanacea
- yeah let's vote for santorum or romney, that sounds better!zarkonite

Ahhhhhhhhhhh, a little more connective indeed, especially to design.
Clint Eastwood's Chrysler Super Bowl Ad: The Untold Obama Connection
http://www.hollywoodreporter.com…Two members of the creative team that produced the two-minute minute spot for ad agency Wieden+Kennedy donated their personal time in 2008 to make pro-Obama art.
This year’s most discussed Super Bowl ad—a two-minute spot for Chrysler narrated by Clint Eastwood—continues to generate controversy in conservative political circles, where a host of questions have been raised about the automaker’s alleged motives for commissioning the advertisement.
In the days ahead, similar politically charged queries also are likely to be raised about the highly regarded Portland Oregon-based ad agency that produced the spot—Wieden+Kennedy, some of whose key creative professionals privately supported Barack Obama in the 2008 election.
