While subcontracting to a dev / account management team, they want a bunch of boxes they can drag around and create a wireframe of a site with.

I've created min in illy, this is ruled out as the client can't tweak them.

Other suggestions? Visio is also out due to client not having it.

This is to be repeated with other clients over and over, so worth making a solution.

Is an editable PDF the way to go? Thoughts would be great. As much as I hate to say it, what about a PPT?

OR an AJAX online solution would be even better?

just use the Word drawing features. give them the page layouts and clients can buggerise around them as much as they need.

it's not good for large complex wf's though....

I guess an IA has zero value to them. If they had Photoshop they could design the site too.

    • they outsource the design to us.meffid

denim - free, easy to use

You can lay out the initial designs, hand off to the clients and they can change as they see fit.

I like thin a lot for rapid prototyping, but personally have never had a client use the software.

    Anyway, something to think about.
