Palatine-The Factory Story 1979-1990

Arguably the greatest label to come out of Manchester was this one started by Tony Wilson. With cover art by Peter Seville and artists ranging from Joy Division to Happy Mondays this label put out some of the most influential music in the 80's. This 4 disc box set collects some of those singles and gives a glimpse of it's greatness. The box set is named after the road Factory was located at and was the last cd put out by the label before it folded.

The fact that Google now so thoroughly indexes the contents of QBN, and in particular the FMT, worries me these days. I'm quite wary about posting anything from my domain.
