"I'm not a solution to your problems - I'm another problem."
Another good episode .. it's getting mucky.

Actually Burt already knows. Pete told him back in Season 1 or 2 or something.

They're signed on for six seasons, right? Don't think that'll happen. Don't think it would cause ripples if they found out who he really was. I think Roger will accept it, he's a WWII vet, and Burt is probably going to die soon anyways.

And then he will leap from the window...

I love the way that Pete can show such total disgust and judgement in a second with his facial expressions. It's one of my favorite parts of the show. He's also got a way of carrying himself and talking that's very proper and British without the accent. Maybe an East Coast boarding school upbringing and some pretentiousness/elitism.
I couldn't believe he didn't give up Don. Maybe he will - my prediction is that the season ends losing Lucky Strike and Pete realizes that the defense client would have saved them; he'll reveal that Don made him dump it in a rage in the partners meeting. I bet that's exactly how the season ends, with Don realizing his secret is finally out to the people who brought him to where he is - Roger and Burt - and they see the cost of his secrets.
- omg .. waiting for season 5 is going to be hell.lukus_W
- Burt already knows. Like I said, they are dead without him... and so is the show lolsofakingbanned
- Cooper has always known. Draper and him talk about it wayy back, season two, I think.jasonistaken

this season is damn good.
Pete wont do anything... he cant. Don is what makes that place. without him they have nothing. he knows that.
Thats why he took all that shit from Roger. dude I give him props.
- He took the shit from Roger - but for how long? The pressure's only going to increase ...lukus_W

Oh boy - what a turn .. I'm wondering whether Pete Campbell's still going to land Don in the shit. He was blatantly talking himself round to idea of doling out some kind of shady retribution, while he was sat on the couch cradling his wife.
Did Joan actually have the abortion? 'Life goes on...' ... could Joanie be speaking literally as well as figuratively?
No Peggy in this episode - is this a first?
When is Roger going to spill the beans re. Lucky Strike? Will Lane come back to a bankrupt agency?
So many questions ..

I forgot all about Lane’s father, his a bloody head case, get your house in order, hahaha.

Good episode last night, I was so hoping Roger was going to sucker punch the Lucky Strike guy.

It reminds me a bit of Tales of the City.

Joan and Roger are made for each other .. hopefully Joan's husband will be killed in Vietnam.

- I just want Joan and Roger to be happy.lukus_W
- I just want Joan.pillhead
- How do you figure Roger could ever be happy. He's just an older version of Don.CyBrain
- and pretty as Joan is, the woman is rather portly and expanding.CyBrain
- Joan is utterly amazing. She's more together that the majority of the characters combined.lukus_W

I like how they drop in aspects of 60s counterculture even if the characters on the show don't experience much of it - it's like a separate world for them.
