What is QBN? 2121 Responses

What exactly is the (hi)story behind QBN? I remember Newstoday (now this page) as a great resource. I also remember it being tied to a website for "Quorporation" which was like an html playground. What was Quorporation? It doesn't seem to exist any more?
Any insights, stories would be immensely appreciated.
Thanks.

The last five years has brought a renaissance in the way people communicate. Advertising has saturated every physical, and digital surface as companies fight for their share in changing markets where a unique visual identity has never been more difficult to create and preserve.

Jason Kristofer (http://www.qbn.com/JKristofer) and Patrick Riley (http://www.qbn.com/Riley) spent the last 10 years building brands and designing campaigns for some of the worlds largest companies from prestigious luxury lines to entertainment, to international telecommunication. Companies that may have employed their creative services at some point now return to these two as a conduit to what many are referring to as the "Creative Class".

Okay, lots of Hedge jokes.
So then what was the Quorporation website? And does it exist in any form on the web today?

From the urban dictionary

An bunch of über elitist designers who run an online design community and think that their shit doesn't stink. Can also be referred to as the QBN Reich.

I miss it too. If I actually remember it correctly, it looked a little better.
Also, about that old Quorporation website, has anyone archived it. What was the point of it back then. Does anyone remember how nonsensical it seemed?
