Time to get a cat or get some traps. Traps are more reliable, get the ones with the larger trigger area that looks like a piece of swiss cheese

Dog just looked at it and half got up from lying down... and just looked with a "huh, that's weird" expression on her face.
I guess I will go to the hardware store tomorrow and an electronic repeller thing and some live traps because I'm nice.

I'm trying to take a picture of it, but it is just too fast.
I've named him Mortimer Longtail.

Get it before it breeds. One day i was watching my kids (both under 3) alone and i see something on the floor. As i go in for a closer examination i realize that it's a live mouse infant, hairless and barely wiggling. The mom must have had them under the couch and they got swept out somehow. Had to shoo my 3 yr old to his room so he didn't see and dispose of the poor things. To this day my wife doesn't know about that (she might sell the house if she did)

hate to break it to you, but its probably part of a family, so odds on if you've got one , you've got a few. Best put a few traps down and leave em down for a while cos even after yiou get this little bugger you'll catch a few more.
Unless you plan on breeding dalmation mice, but that'd just be a crazy idea.

Yeah, he has a name, so I will get live traps and then set him free down by one of the the lakes. He'll be happier there.
I remember checking mouse traps with my dad and finding the half alive ones. I'd rather not deal with that.
