  So I have a white imac running leopard, has been fine for weeks then all of a sudden I drag a file into the trash and it locks up.

  I restart the machine, open up the two photoshop files ive been working on all day and one of the cunts says 'not a valid photoshop file' and the other opens into mess of corrupted green...

  For FUCK sake, ive never had a problem with OS X in about 7 years, but Ive just lost my whole days work through no fault of my own, other than not backing up, but after 7 years I didn't think I'd need to

  It's happened to everybody avolve. More than once for me so now I make it a point to have duplicates of everything and work with a scratch disk in Photoshop, that I'll also push a duplicate to. Sorry duder.

  We have an actual apple tech in here on Thursdays and he gave us a list of things to do to our Macs to speed them up, especially in CS3 Photoshop and help them crash less. Download and install Onyx to help repair, fix and clear your cache.
