Help using Mac Automator 77 Responses

I am trying to sort a huge collection of images (thousands) by orientation using Mac Automator. I downloaded this action for Automator (But it doesn't seem to be working):
http://automatoractions.com/file…
I need to separate the images that are panoramic vs. vertical. Once I have them sorted by orientation I need to scale all of them, and add a border. I have created a few droplets to do the latter but wonder if I can do everything in Automator or possibly with another prog.
Any know how to do this, or know any good progs to do this with?
Thanks in advance!

Why do you need to sort them first by horizontal vs vertical? If its just for the scaling, you really don't need to, because Photoshop Actions can size according to either width or height, without you having to sort the orientations first (you have to dig into the Action Options, double-click each step of the Action to see the options). Adding the border is probably easy in Photoshop..
and anything that Photoshop can't do, have a look at iViewMedia Pro (has lots of sorting/filtering functions and batch processing).
