definitely 2. Like someone previously said, the most balanced of the three.

Number two, because the larger circles enforce the shapes of the other elements much more strongly.

visually they will be touching if they're within a metre or whatever, I forget how wide these are.

2
.....not one for round things but it complements the ident more i think

I'd try #2 but slide the circle and product to the right so that left side of the circle is aligned with text, right side of circle bleeds. I'd probably also left align all text elements and small circle

So while we are on the subject everything is happy with the general layout of the other objects?
Thanks for the input, I'm glad I haven't got a "start over" response from anyone... haha.

twee (dutch for 2)

1 will be restrictive on other product shots
2 will also work better with different products
3 box doesnt work with the rest of the design. You have loads of angled curved lines.so 2 is your answer

instead of making it just a circle that bleeds off in 2, why not make the arcs larger and make it more like a swirl like what's going on in the background, not necessarily a circle.

Has anyone said 2 yet?

2 for me.
It's product of the year, breaking up the banner gives the item more emphasis.

Ok... just to clarify there will be 40 of them, each with a different logo and product shot. Therefore, there may not be that many with round logos / long and shallow images.
Thanks for the shouts guys... all being taken on board...

2 for me, makes the product stand out more...
