Parents are the cause of every problem kids face these days. Either they're fat and spoiled by 'helicopter parents' who hover around to ward off all formative experiences, or they're completely oblivious to what their spawn are up to online and at school (if they even go).

one time i worked at a candy store that had beanie babies during that whole peak of popularity. And this kid who was a known jerkoff decided to steal a box of them from the back of the store through the back door.
I caught word that he stole them and i stopped by his house after work and his mom answered. I told her i had speculation and i peeked in the back of his SUV and there was a box of beanie babies in there....she said that i planted them to get her son in trouble.
So i told here to wise up - "you're son is no fucking angel, he's caused shit in this neighborhood since were in elementary school...if you dont start facing the facts he'll land himself in jail in a couple years when he's 18"...my bet is he's in jail now.
