Isn't this going too far?
The guy found a stray dog in the street, tied it up in his gallery and told visitors not to feed it. The spectical of the dog starving was supposedly "art". I personally find it sickening

Didn't this happen last year? Or have I slipped through another wormhole again?

is chicken fighting art?

Fucking sick...

I'd like to tie that piece of shit up and starve his ass for art. People like this should be criminally charged.

I can't believe people actually showed up and supported the guy. The photo of the dog on the ground with people in the distance having a merry old time is disgusting.
My wife would ball her eyes out if I showed this to her.

If this is called art, I wonder what will be the next thing... (as most 'artists' like this tend to shock their public because of the lack of thinking/execution in their release).

"Hello everyone. My name is Guillermo Vargas Habacuc. I am 50 years old and an artist. Recently, I have been criticized for my work titled "Eres lo que lees", which features a dog named Nativity. The purpose of the work was not to cause any type of infliction on the poor, innocent creature, but rather to illustrate a point. In my home city of San Jose, Costa Rica, tens of thousands of stray dogs starve and die of illness each year in the streets and no one pays them a second thought. Now, if you publicly display one of these starving creatures, such as the case with Nativity, it creates a backlash that brings out a big of hypocrisy in all of us. Nativity was a very sick creature and would have died in the streets anyway."

I guess it's kind of like finding a domestically abused housewife, tying her up in a gallery, getting drunk and pinching her in the face and saying 'she would have gotten that licking anyway. Isn't this a sad situation?' Boosh!
Now don't anyone go getting any ideas.

i'd feed the dog and tell the artist to go fuck himself.

Inhumanity is never art.

yeah, as someone said above: cut the rope. grab the dog. burn the place down (not sure if that last part was actually said). to tie an animal up into a corner and let him die is being fucked!
seriously fucked....but then again, there are a lot of seriously fucked up things today that we just walk past...it's weird to compare, but many look at a street dog as a helpless, homeless animal. while many of the same people look at a homeless person as an annoyance, a drunk, a drug addict or a criminal...
i don't really have much to say, other than there are all walks of life. whether they be an animal or a human. all need love. all need the chance to express "fuck you".
meh..
