What are your favorite biscuits for dipping?
The top three dipping biscuits of all time for longevity I reckon are:
- Ginger nut. (over 2:30mins)
- Fig Roll (although technically cheating since it contains a fruit) (2.10mins)
- And some LuLu biscuit with chocolate in the middle which seems to be waterproof. (indestructable)Worst biscuit for dipping:
Rich Tea (about 2secs)

I can't enter this discussion. "Dipping biscuits" is a euphemism for a poop that reaches the water before it leaves your person.

Without wanting to brand myself as a 'budget' biscuit buyer - Tescos Ginger Nuts are brilliant, they sort of 'melt' and all the sugar seems to congeal into 1 solid platter - tasty!
PS: I applaud your biscuit timing.

*ahem* We invented you, don't forget YankeeDoodle - so 'cookies' is Yankish for 'biscuits'. Which, as Steven Fry tells us, comes from the French 'Bis Cuit', which means double cooked.
So, er.. I've lost my point here - but I think I meant to swear at the heathen Frenchies somehow.

REAL MEN DON'T DIP COOKIES/BISCUITS/FRENCH WHORE FANCY BAKED GOODS INTO ANYTHING!!! ANYTHING!!

I will say this - not only are Jaffa Cakes not biscuits, they're also not appropriate for dipping into hot beverages.
There's a lot to be said for the humble digestive as a dipper - good in espresso, anyway.

Digestives (or Di' Joes as I like to call em) are good but rarely fit sniggly into a mug. You usually have to snap an edge off. Loses points for that in my book. Butter on digestives is good too!
- Spookytim0
Digestives are the ultimate biscuit. I have had them with butter on, also with butter and sugar sprinkled on top but really the only decent thing to do with a digestive is to eat them dry, as nature intended. If you eat enough of them they have a very strange effect on your digestion, don;t know if anyone else has found that, but they clearly do soemthing to earn the name Digestive, becuase I've succumndede... succumded... I've succumbberedb... experienced the awesome power many times.
