I'm loving my macbook and second display, but I am looking for a laptop stand and wireless keyboard to go with it. Just wondering what other people use/if they have any recommendations on products.

15" PowerBook still going strong. No external monitor or stand, just a table or my lap.

I have a macbook pro, with a waccom setup and I use my widescreen TV as well, because I am an editor and TV motion designer, I have to have an output to tv to see if it looks good or shite he he. I'd love to have a G5 and my own edit suite but it's tto expensive at the moment and I have my own suite at work anyway, perhaps in a couple of years I may go freelance,...

I honestly thing after you spend about £800 on any desktop these days, there isn't really any obvious notable difference between them if you're using photoshop, illy, etc. Its better to invest money in the stuff you actually use, like a good display, keyboard, mouse, tablet than go all out with hardware that isn't used to its full potential.

Laptop Dell centrino 1.75 Ghz and Athlon64 3500 + scanner and printer, wacom tablet and external storage (1TB) @ home.
Intel dual core Mac + 2 Sony 19" displays @ work.
My laptop is almost 3 years old, but is still pretty good. Looking forward to change it (possibly with a mac) in one year maybe.- ppfffft SHOW OFFDrno

I've got a 3 yr old Sony VAIO laptop with some keys missing and half the others just don't work, so I also have a USB keyboard and an 'opticle' mouse from Tesco which take up the only USB ports. As a scanner I'm using the camera on my phone and bluetoothing it to the laptop. This is because the the USB driver for my actual camera, isn't compatible with my version of Windows. This makes looking for a job and freelancing very painful. Cannot wait to get a Mac.

15" MacBook Pro with a 500GB external drive and 20 or 21" second display, then the standard Apple mouse/keyboard. It's a good set up. Home is simply a brand spankin' new 24" iMac and an older 160gb drive. Love.

- What's your speaker setup? Does it sound as good as it looks?ctcliff
- Altec Lainsing FX6021, theres a huge sub under the desk too, and that thing behind the keyboard is a volume/treble/bass control - sound much bigger than they are!
