Quick question: is there any way to reduce the framerate (i.e: from 31 to 24) without losing the timing between keyframes?
Like if a Motion tween lasts 2 seconds @31 fps, is there a way to make it last 2 seconds @25 fps?
The thing i need to convert is just timeline animations and there are several movieclips with several layers each.
Thanks in Advance

sure. if you use any of the tween classes they are time based(not frame rate based).

ahh, okay. so your animations are all timeline based (sorry i read that wrong at first). not sure if you can change the timing within actually changing the frame lengths themselves. is it possible to create some global function for something like that?

yeah, your only options are to either use the tween class (or some other action script) or manually go in and take some frames out for each animation.

actionscript 3.0, you can control the framerate programatically:
- neat. So does that mean you can dynamically speed up or slow down keyframe animations?flashbender

I knew about as3, but since i'm with flash8, i'll keep compiling my table where there are all the keyframe timings. Big fun!
- even changing framerate programatically still doesn't fix your timing issue, does it?flashbender
