I think I'm going to try to draw something every day for a year. Just to keep practicing. My concern is that I'm probably going to have days where I'm not inspired to draw anything. In case that happens, can you guys post things for me to draw in this thread? If I need something to draw, I'll come to this thread and go down the list. I'm planning on posting the drawings on my portfolio. Here is what I drew yesterday:

try drawing things that you see around you.
my illustrations are normally based on things lying around or how I'm feeling.when you are inspired. take a note and write them down, (even assign them to a day if your a bit OCD) then you have a list of stuff for days that your feeling uninspired. there are more than 365 things on the planet :)
try speaking to your friends as well, illustrate something that means something to them, or draw them whilst they are doing the thing they love.
