Ja, I'm into it alright. There's nothing like Los Angeles. It's got some good work and good pay to match.
And yeah, LA definitely isn't the cheapest city to live in, but it's still way cheaper than New York and San Francisco. Because of that, and the fact that LA is the second largest city in the US, (here come the flames) the music scene can't be beat.
The city is huge in terms of area, though, so you'll pretty much need to drive to get around. Public transit's not quite there yet.

I was a bike messenger in downtown LA in 1993...the economy was terrible there and vacancies were plentiful.
What are the rents like there nowadays?
I used to eat at roach coach in front of 444 flower.....my first ever breakfast burritos.

What's the name of that coffee shop on Traction? They have decent breakfast.
