Well at least a few people there know who David Carson is. God, I hate Nine Inch Nails so much.
I saw that the St-Hubert chain here is trying to make some more modern decors too and I think it's ill fitting. It looks like a sushi shop. I like that fast food chains have these tacky brightly colored plastic chairs better.

I can't understand why they would want to rip off something which is both old and crap!
I know carson had is moments over here in the uk for a while, had a few books out (I even think I've got a couple somewhere).
This 'sampling' debate will go on and on now, same as it does with music. Some say they hate it when there fav old bands get covered or sampled by new bands but the problem with this is that the release has had and ok from the original band or bands record company. This means your original idol is responsible in some way shape or form.
Maybe carson actually sold maccys the rights to use the work,

I dont' know what that dude has been doing since the NIN cover era but I haven't heard SFA about him. Maybe all the partying with rockstars has left a big enough hole in his wallet to actually get him to sell his work to McDicks.
