This thread turned out to be eerily similar to the one at QBN, haha.
Mario 3 was the best I think as well, so ... I think I going to get this, and finally play something on my Wii outside of Wii Sports, haha.

You're either a fan of Nintendo or you aren't. I'm not. And this game makes me yawn.

there are stars on some of the letters in the title.
check the letters, put them together, and see what it spells.

mario galaxy is the first game in years i want to play more than 10 min, in fact for hours straight. I'm pretty bored with all the first person shooters, and racers - gameplay wise nothing much has changed/improved since the ps1/n64 on most platforms. My ps3 is very good at gathering dust, until Little Big Planet comes out :-). I don't mind a game that looks like a game and has it's own ruleset and style, it's the best game in a long time. Very clever imho and so full of gameplay variations.

I just got it today! its fantastic, i can see resident evil 4 being replaced as my fave wii game... although i dont include wii sports in that,

OMGorsh, it's so good. Seriously if you're it, you're sorely missing out. It's like Mario 3 on speed in 3D. A little kiddish at first, but I tell ya, it's something else.

"why can't they make any games that aren't for 7 year olds?"
eh ?

When Mario 3 came out I found it in me mums room when I snooped for pressies one year!! I had that game completed before christmas day!! Would have days when id have about 15 mates in me house to check out the graphics!

games are mostly marked towards the 18 - 34 year olds and surprise most fan boys fit in to that demographic.

i think llyod means nintendo.
and i think i agree.but i'll admit - that looks like fun.
I'm more into sports games and the like, so nintendo has never been my first choice as a system.... maybe that'll change.

(Nov 12 07, 12:16)Well every other platform has the mature gaming market cornered. What's wrong with Nintendo taking a different path? If you want mature titles... go to you Xbox360, PS3, PC etc.

that does look pretty good...
I'm glad they are pushing the envelope on the less powered console on the market while on xbox we are still getting new skins for wolfenstein 3d, 1st p shooters man.. they all look the same now.
- Jaline0
Exactly, ETM. People of all ages love Nintendo systems and games.
I'd like to see the graphic improved for the next system + Wii capabilities. I'm sure that'll happen. But the games will most likely remain the same way, and I'm fine with that.
- Actually me and my mate we chatting about this yesterday and wondered how long it would take Nintendo to do a Wii.V2. The graphics on Metroid/Mario are fantastic though so it shows how developers in the past have been happy pushing ports onto a system that can do so much more.db_gd

It's awesome, if you don't like Nintendo then fair enough you'll hate this but it's took the platformer to the next level, some real innovative ideas.

I was second player this past weekend while my brother was first player. It's pretty fun. We had to stop playing eventually because all of our (4) controllers had batteries that were out of power.
