the air sucks bawlz, looks like nuclear fall out with ash coming down like snow and everything covered in a strange orange glow. I woke up with a bloody nose last night cause the air is so dry and shitty, really trippy.
However, I think the fires we had 4 or 5 years ago were worse in terms of air. Hopefully it gets cooler and more humid soon. I'm lucky to live next to the beach, so the flames gotta burn through lots of city before they get to me, but my thoughts are with those who've lost in this.
Anyone who needs a place to stay can crash on my sofa anytime!

so this isn't a display of the latest amazing special fx from hollywood?
all this time i thought this was some sort of viral for some massive budget disaster movie.

how you SoCal NT'ers holding up? i saw the 20 / 20 special last night, that shit is crazy

things have definitely slowed down which is good news.
Good to see this City come together the way it has. The atmosphere at the stadium is like a rock concert. They have turned people away because there is too much help.
Oh yeah, live bands at night. Party!

when i was a kid, i used to think it was so cool to stand on the roof with my dad and hose down the house, watching the fire come over the mountain
i also used to think ponch and john were real...
- morilla0
they are real, if you let it be.

i miss all the so-cal natural disasters... ohio is so calm and boring, and our highway patrol doesn't wear tight-fitted uniforms

i have a feeling that the rescue efforts and federal funding seem to be applied more timely and efficiently than in New Orleans back then..
but hey, that's just my observation.
