"Seinfeld: The Complete Series" weighs in at 32 discs and carries a suggested list price of $283.95.

I guess for the extra stuff it's worth the price. For Seinfeld fans.

(Aug 23 07, 08:10)I am trying to think of a show that is better modernstyle...
I am really trying.. I have nothing... nothing at all..The writing, the jokes, the way everything comes together at the end, the connection with reality... geroge! that show has everything...

I prefer Larry David.
Could never really get into Seinfeld - whether because of it's annoying interstitial riff-twangs or Jerry's constant oozing smug self-satisfaction, I could never quite tell.
George Castanza aside, naturally.

I would pay that much for the whole collection.

Curb Ur Enthusiasm works better as a show than Seinfeld imso

(Aug 23 07, 08:19)I think its a mistake to compare CYE with Seinfeld, because their humor is nothing alike.

funny, already have seasons 1 - 8.

I prefer Larry David.

I meant 'Curb your enthusiasm', of course. Pretty stupid saying 'i prefer Larry David' in a Seinfeld thread.
- Meeklo0
seriously .. I'm more of star wars guy..
- Nairn0
It's not a mistake for me, Meeklo - it's my preference! :)
Maybe I just found Seinfeld a little childish, or something - I certainly lumped it with other feckless American SitComs of the time (that's a particular flavour of generalisation, not a blanket slandering of your nation).
It's probably down to me seeing every aspect of my character expressed via the big LD.

Most times, Jerry Seinfeld was the worst thing about Seinfeld . . .
- Meeklo0
I wasn't suggesting you were mistaken, I was suggesting that both shows are not to be compared cause they are nothing alike.
now I say you are mistaken when you talk about my nation.. I'm not american.. ;)

(Aug 23 07, 08:23)Kind of true, but Larry David mentioned that George is based on himself, which is why there are similarities between the two, thus automatically connecting the shows together.
- Nairn0
Huh? Shit. Sorry about that, Meeklo - I don't know why I thought you were American?
You've only been here 4 years - it's not like that's long enough for me to have noticed..

How come I always see the same 12 episodes on TV then. >:(
