  I had a client for a flash site... Found a flasher, he asked for a prepayment.. i gave him 50%
  He is a kind of popular flash developer in Russia, so i didnt care about sending 50%.
  Now the work is stuck, client calls me, im loosing my reputation. And he doesnt even answer to my emails. I don't know what to do...

  Paying him upfront without having met was a pretty ballsy move to begin with. Unless you can locate him I suppose you'll have to find a replacement flash guru or hunt him down. You don't have a phone number?

  Hire someone else adn get the work done. Your reputation will stay with you - just cut your loses and get the work out and put this down to experience.

  It's tough - and I feel for you. But it will cost you a lot more in the long run if your clients think you are unreliable.

  Ur work kicks major arse, don't worry about anything. Your rep will fix itself. I'd keep sending him emails, he just might not be around to answer them. I'd think he would be worried about his rep as well.
