Jaline, yes im a spoiled bitch but Im a responsible one. I got a blackberry, so any projects Im on top of. Whenever I come in on time, nobodies doing shit and the people that are here are on some bullshit and I dont wanna hear it. All this extra bullshit is killing my career. I want to just do my work and get out. Why is there all this other bullshit involved? I wanna be like tom cruise in minority report. Go in, kick ass on the computer and leave.

I need to work on my Bruce Wayne.

It's great that you get your work done. But I suspect that it makes you look like you don't do anything when you come in and leave at random times. Your co-workers are probably doing nothing, but they're physically there.

I had this problem this summer at my place of work too. I got "the talk" from my acting boss about coming in at random times.
I always get my work done, but to him it seemed like I had nothing to do since I came in at like 10am and left at 4:30pm or before.
Now I come in around 8:30am (before most people) and do nothing for a while...maybe do a project or two (which I can usually finish quickly but I drag it out so I don't finish early and get bored). And I leave at 3:15pm.

I woke up at 9AM, did a conference call from home, showered got dressed, drove to work at 10AM.
Got to work at 10:45AM after saving someone's life on accident (I have written the story out to share with people, it will be my first blog entry, haha), left for lunch at 11:00AM.
By the time I was on my 2nd margarita one of the people I work with started choking, helped him out with some heimlich but apparently it was not in his windpipe but in his esophagus ... just came from the emergency room since he couldn't get it out and it is just stuck there, haha.
Picking up my laptop, posting this and going to check on him as his procedure should be done in 2 hours but I feel like I deserve some ice cream.
Here's to summer hours ... ALL THE TIME!
