// Of course it was a terrorist attack.
This is far to good for conspiracy types to pass up.
Just wait...

I work not too far from the bridge, and I can say that things are still chaotic around here. I still hear sirens all around, even at 11am the next day.
I also knew a girl who was on the bridge, she unfortunately suffered two shattered legs after dropping in her car with the bridge and ending up in the Mississippi. She was extremely lucky to live. It's a lot worse than what it looks like on TV.

some of the images online and tv are truly scary
but yeah I can imagine being there and seeing the enormity of it all

I just can not imagine it. I used to live in Minneapolis and I traveled that bridge everyday.

another. in less than a month or two?
- mrdobolina0
holy shit.
- bliznutty0
that is UNBELIEVABLE!!
- mrdobolina0
there must be traffic cam video of this. They will be showing that footage in civil engineering classes forever.
Crazy disaster, no deaths reported yet? cross your fingers.
- Crouwel0
you'd only need the cam if it's been recording for years, to see the engineering issue. i rather think management issue. mismanagement.
thank god it's not so bad here. up till now. *knocks wood
recently they closed a major bridge here though, for all the heavy traffic, trucks, busses. some companies are trying to claim millions in damages for being obliged to make a detour now. yet, rather that than the lives of some people.
terrible.

for the last month or two they have been doing surface repair on this interstate. this bridge is probably the most frequently traveled in the twin cities (minneapolis/st paul for those not familiar). traffic was at 10-20 mph, which i guess is a good thing. rush hour. yeesh. gotta go call people. later.
