hey there,
Well after a fair amount of effort and a whole lotta patience on PonyBoy's behalf Im very nearly ready with my studios website. Its about 95% finished. So if you can take a look and see if anything is out of place/if anything is broken/if anything looks pants. Let me know, cheers for the feedback people!

Me like! The fonts are a bit blur though

Nice.
Simple nav - excellent work!
I especially liked the work for Irish Horse Museum, even though the concept of a museum dedicated just horses is weird.
Who said taxidermy was dead?

Cheers for the initial response!
Was a bit nervous, this is about the fourth time I've built this baby in as many months!
The blurry text, is it everywhere or mainly in the project descriptions? Cos they were initially exported as flash 6 swf and need to be updated.
- since810
The blurry text are buttons on the right side, not that bad but it could be my monitor.

looking very good! well done.
one minor thing: you may not want to force the visitor to scroll to the recent work, so if it were me, i'd start the timeline on the right and make people scroll back to the 80s.
- ian0
No since81, I think thats my bad, I reckon its the dynamic text in the menu. I'll check it out now, thanks!
- ian0
Para, if it were up to me I wouldn't even have that timeline in there! But not a bad idea, start at 06 and work from left to right back to the 80s.
I'll voice the opinion and see what the boss thinks.

Good job, only remark would be in news, headings blend with the text.
- ian0
Hey rafalski, you think they should be separate headings like:
10.2.06
News Item
Then the text block describing the news. Then the text block describing the news.
- rafalski0
possibly so.. I just read
"New Project Having helped raise funds for the refurbishment.."
but it might be just me
- ian0
Ah yes, that one! Yeah I'll take a look at that. Maybe its just some punctuation needed!

Good work, clean, running smoothly, legible – lets the work do the talking...
The only major issue for me regards the work slides. Sitting through the slideshow is tedious and causes me to skip images as I don't want to wait. I would suggest opting for a next/previous tool in addition. The slideshow could still do its ting, but allow the user to go quicker if desired, or back up at will.

Looking good! Shouldn't be to hard to make my mouse scroll wheel work on the news box though...

Diffinately what para said. I went straight to '06.
Also runs like a bitch in Safari, but hey that's Safari for you :/
- ian0
Hey Dancer,
Ta for the feedback, checked it in safari but worked ok, not slow and jerky. So dunno, what was bad for you? Also talked to my boss about the whole timeline thing and he says its fine as is, so me thinks that could be the last word on that :(
- Nairn0
Neat, petite. I like.
Would be nice if you had some clever interactivity on the timeline - those wee left/right buttons aren a bit fiddly.
Indentation on address in contact section doesn't look right and the map - would that be useful to people coming from outside of Dublin?
- Nairn0
No, timeline is indeed wrong. Tell your boss that Para and Nairn insist he change it to the KORREKT way around.

Personally, i don't dislike it.
To me it looks like a lot of other sites.
Not the same, as in rip, but similar.Do you really need the 'our promise' bit? I hate that.
Are you going to promise to do shit work and rip me off? Of course not!from 'uurgghh' to 'hhhmmm' I'd give it a 'nnnnn ... it's ok'.

Nothing happens when I click on the Parc, iACT and IWA in the work section.
Other that that everything looks great over here
I'm on firefox 2.0

SOme nice work in there, and i like the overall look of the site. but the whole site scroll between sections can be a little clunky and unessecary imo. I would look at a new way to move between sections.
also, in your work section, i can make it break by jumping too quickly between items.
nice enough though.
