You must be kidding - the Basque region's the most civilised part of Spain I've been to!
Thanks man, I'll post pics upon my return...
...assuming my camera doesn't have a massive smudge on the lens, like it did last time I went.
- OBBTKN0
time will say...
I think we can´t be civilised for more than a decade.
We´ll see it on 2011 - the basque empire returns!
just kidding.
enjoy your visit to our "little paradise" and don´t forget to sending photos about

.."and big contacts here in spa."
*splutters
In Spain?!
Some Basque you are!
I'm going over there next week for a wedding - looking forward to a few days wandering incoherently around Bilbao (not in a British lager-lout fashion, I hasten to add!)

The thing is simplified like this:
Great REAL possibilities vs. sirens´s call.
Or i´m lossing something?
(I´ve been in a Big company in past for 5 years, and i know how this things works...)
I´m affraid of this way of life.

it's seems more a matter of being self-disciplined while working job A. pushing yourself as a creative director and directing the company's client roster toward a brighter future for all.
or is that too much for them to take on?
if you're not looking to build your book then i grant you permission to rest on your laurels.
that is a tough decision though. i know how it can get when you don't feel motivated by your work.
- OBBTKN0
when you say 'bright future, perspectives' what do you mean exactly?

(May 30 07, 17:17)I say those "you´re going to work for the greatest clients in the area, now and ever" the boss of B offered me. Is a company with great growing and big contacts here in spa.
- AndyRoss0
I think he means "window office."
lol

#a sounds healthier and who knows, with you at the helm, maybe you can increase the "Bright Future-perspectives"?
Personally, I'd rather be in a smaller team with a better position and bigger say, even if that does mean working on less than stellar clients.
I enjoyed my times in agencies, but.. meh.

Hi everyone!
Time for lifetime (so far...) decissions:
I´ve got 2 work offers:
A. Actual offer: Creative Director, small studio but much freedom. M to Th; 8 to 17:00. Fridays: 8 to 13:00.
1600 €/month x 15 payments.
Possibility of external jobs: 6000/8000 €/year more.B. New offer: Senior Designer. Great studio-company. Bright Future-perspectives. Less freedom. 1 hour more all the days.
1350 €/month. x 14 payments. + Extra hours, but fisically no possiblity of external jobs (no time).
All the money is after taxes.
Personal situation: 35 years old, married with 2 kiddies. Little bank debts and in confort.
Tomorrow i´ll get another offer from A.
Surely, I´m going with A, more life quality, more money, more freedom and confort, and now i can get a better offer again.
Am i an idiot coz i dont change to B (a "mega-powerfull-brilliant" agency).
Any Suggestions??
TA.
