This is a pretty good read

well, it was semi light outside when we got stuck, but darkness came pretty quick..
There is nothing better that playing in mud when you have been stuck all day in front of the computer
When I got my mate out of the water and he opened his door, 100's of liters came out...
not amused

looks rather pedestrian

it's likely a o2 sensor. whoever said, "there i was knee-deep in o2 sensors" was right

i think i knew that. i might have asked just to get my percentages up.

haha, love it. the defender is the perfect toy for mud playing.
i am slightly jealous. i think i would have gladly swapped with my ride today with the BMW 635..
oh well..

well, it's fun till you have to shovel mud for half an hour to get unstuck
But freshest air ever and a good workout. Will sleep like a baby tonight for a change.

- the most common problem that people have with discoverys here are electrical problems.sung_konajalinejox
- my friend has the v8, has issues with sticking valve seals.slappy
- this is a 98, which means it´s free from ECU running the engine like the TD5 and electric problems.designerror

I've already started thinking about my first car over here in the US and A. I've narrowed it down to one of these three:
Nissan 350Z
Infiniti G35 Coupe
Acura TL
I know the Nissan/Infiniti are pretty much identical under the hood so it's just a styling thing. Anyone got one of these? What do you think?
I might have one in twenty years by the time I'm employed.

Yo jox!!! What up? I just picked up an 07 911 Carrera. Wanna race?
- wunderbra0
exactly, and it certainly beats shoveling sand for hours to release a friggin' Vitara (yes i know!!) out of the beach sand.. as i did with a friend years ago.. later on that car was stolen. i guess that's karma!
g'night!

I've read that lamborghinis are poorly made. during a top gear test of the gallardo they noticed that the paint on the shifter wore off and chipped.

(Oct 20 07, 09:51)I would have to disagree and say it's one of the - if not THE most well-made supercar today. Audi quality with Italian blood. And unlike Ferrari, maintenance is not bad at all.
And the gear lever is all aluminium, has no paint on it. Clarkson even owns a G Spyder - I doubt he hates it that bad...

I thought you had a Disco Jens?
It's crazy to see how very little has changed with the 109/110/Defender over the past 45 years.
