LOOKS GREAT ON MY 1600x1200 moniter, I swear this moniter is killing my eyes, 12pt text is like a grain of sand!!!!

Right, I've completely readdressed this. How is this looking on people's monitors now? Feedback from people with small laptops gratefully received in particular!

use this code in your browsers address bar and it will resize your browser accordingly - play a bit wih the numbers to test other res

I guess I must have been. Can you try again V4?

just barely fitting now if you're not planning on having the margins as thick as they are in your comp (check my scroll position)
and firefox users should REALLY use this
https://addons.mozilla.org/firef…it's how i set my browser to 1024*768 for testing and assorted other sizes too

Thanks v4, useful firefox thingy. Fits just fine on my mac screen now at 1024x768.
*Don't normally build these things which is why I'm going through so much grief.

you'll find some basics and use them most often, i still would go no wider than 990 ever, 960 is good too because that number is very helpful in grid setups using 10, 15 or 20 pixel increments, 990 just lets you push a tad farther, some clients will always say bigger :(
- Fariska0
Still too big.
I usually use 960 or 980 as limits (I prefer to work with grids with odd numbers colums and these values are good when you use 10px or 15px gaps)

drop downs are a pain in the arse

1) get firefox.
http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/fir…2) install the web dev extention
https://addons.mozilla.org/firef…3) top right there will be a 'Resize' drop down - go to 1024 x 768, does it fit?
- Jaline0
yes it is
I'd say 1024 wide should be your max

Yes on a mac far far too big. type is nasty and clunky on the eye.
The existing one is much tidier!

JerseyRaindog:
I think that you should capitalize the "T" in "The" within the browser ttile bar.

Hahaha. You are just a prize cunt version4. What I don't get is how you got to be such a cocky wanker. I mean, your own work is average at best. Not that mine is any better. Just saying.

This site interests me. How many Juniors do you have slaving away?
