Why do people idolize someone like that? I really dont get it. Additionally, the whole che guevara crazy, I just dont get it. Are people gonna start sporting the kim jung shirts as well?
Can someone please explain this to me?

obviously it seems that they see something worth emulating in their own person.

i dont understand why some people cant understand why a different group of people may have a worldview different than their own that is just as valid.

Just by the summary on the site you can tell there is some humour to it.

My friend named his son Che, after our famous Ventalin lover.
"He suffered from ever-worsening bouts of asthma, and most of his last offensives were carried out in an attempt to obtain medicine."

Also, no offense, but I think this is a silly question. Lots of people idolize all different kinds of people having different perspectives.

Castro is seen very very differently in Latin America than he is portrayed by the US propaganda machine. Both sides are right and both sides are wrong.

"Different people have different world views". Are you kidding me? I would be willing to wager that a good portion of the population of cuba would love to see Castro gone. Did you see the news reports of cubans celebrating in the streets of Florida when Castro fell sick? His own people hate him. For some reason cozy little designers tucked away in their homes idolize him, and I am supposed to write it off as a different world view? So, the world view is, you like and support dictators whos own people celebrate his sickness? That is a world view I certainly dont support.
And, hey, the president of Iran has a world view, is it all fine and dandy with you too? Gimmie a break.
